Hello Jenka | Timeless
This always seems to happen around this time of day. The coffee buzz wears off, all of a sudden the work I’m in the middle of doing seems unnecessarily taxing…It’s just a case of finding a distraction, something that allows you to switch off, if only for a couple of minutes.
Today’s respite comes courtesy of Swedish producer Hello Jenka. The piano spills outwards like oil from a gas tank leaking into the gutter, the vocal sample is barely discernible and simply makes for a further layer of ether to cloud the listener from reality.
